The Tino Rawa Trust is a registered charitable trust created in 2007. Its focus is on ensuring that New Zealand’s historically significant vessels are conserved, preserved and restored with traditional materials and techniques.

LATEST NEWS: The Auckland Wooden Boat Festival is announced for 13-15 March, 2026. The Tino Rawa Trust, along with partners Tātaki Auckland Unlimited and the New Zealand Maritime Museum, will again be showcasing New Zealand’s unique maritime heritage both on-land at the Viaduct Event Centre and on-water at Jellicoe Harbour, Wynyard Quarter.

Over 200 vessels will be on display along with interactive displays, exhibitors, models and memorabilia. Something for all wooden boat enthusiasts.

As part of the Moana Auckland, New Zealand’s Ocean Festival, the Auckland Wooden Boat Festival 2026 is brought to the Auckland waterfront by Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, New Zealand Maritime Museum and Tino Rawa Trust.
